A note from Krista Taylor
Hello again. It feels really good to be writing this.
If things have been a little quieter here over the past couple of years, there is a reason for that. I stepped away to focus on my health and to go through cancer treatment and recovery.
It has been a challenging time, but also one that has given me a completely new perspective. I am now in a place where I can slowly return, and I wanted to share that with you.
Taking time to recover
Stepping back was not something I had planned, but it was something I needed. Over the past two years, my focus has been on healing, resting, and rebuilding my strength. Like many people going through treatment, everything else had to take a back seat for a while.
The business slowed down. Life slowed down, and in many ways, that was exactly what was needed. Now, coming through the other side, I feel ready to gently step forward again.
Time away has a way of clarifying things. It has brought me back to the heart of why I started this in the first place. When your body is under pressure, complicated routines can feel like too much. That has reinforced my belief that skincare should be simple, gentle, and easy to use.
During treatment, skin can become more reactive and unpredictable. That experience has deepened my understanding of how important it is to keep formulations calm and supportive.
Kindness matters, to skin and to ourselves
We have always focused on plastic free skincare and low waste packaging. That continues. But it also sits alongside something just as important, which is creating products that feel comforting and easy to use when life is not at its simplest.
For anyone navigating sensitive skin
If your skin has ever felt out of balance, irritated, or hard to manage, you will understand how frustrating that can be. This next chapter is very much about supporting that kind of skin. Less noise, fewer steps, more care.
I am returning gradually, with a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of purpose.
You can expect:
- simple, thoughtful skincare guidance
- honest conversations about what works and what matters
- continued focus on plastic free, low waste products
- a slower, more balanced way of doing things
This is not about rushing back. It is about moving forward in a way that feels right. Thank you for your patience, your support, and for staying with us. It has meant more than I can say.
This is a new beginning, shaped by everything the past two years have taught me. I am really glad to be back, and I am looking forward to what comes next.
